G’ma’s Alfredo & Veggie Flatbread with Naan!🧀 My grandma always made it with canned Alfredo sauce, but my heart can’t fathom using canned Alfredo so we are making it by scratch. You can also use pita bread for this recipe. This is SO easy, quick and absolutely delicious - especially for lunch! (recipe for 4 flatbreads)

Ingredients:
•1 Tablespoon butter
•1/2 Tablespoon minced garlic
•1 cup heavy whipping cream
•1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
•3/4 cup shredded Parmesan
•1/2 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
•Salt & Pepper to taste
•4 slices of Naan bread
•1 Red bell pepper
•Sliced Kalamata olives
•Sundried Tomatoes
Optional: Fresh Basil and/or Pomegranate (pomegranate is in season and I couldn’t help but garnish one of the flatbreads with the seeds. It was delicious!)
Instructions:
Set your oven to 400F. While it’s heating up, chop up your pepper and sundried tomatoes and set aside.
Next, heat a pan over the stove on medium heat. Melt the butter and then mix in the minced garlic. Once combined, pour in the heavy cream. As soon as the cream begins to simmer, sprinkle in all of the cheese and stir it together until it is deliciously creamy! Add in all of your seasonings and taste it along the way until it makes your tastebuds happy.
Put your naan bread on a sheet of aluminum foil on a pan (to catch any Alfredo). Pour your Alfredo sauce on each naan, put your peppers, olives and sundried tomatoes on top (there are no measurements for these since you can decide how many toppings you want). Slide your flatbreads in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the edges are nice and crispy.
I garnished my flatbreads with fresh basil on one and pomegranate seeds on the other. They were absolutely delicious! Enjoy them with the ones you love.
